About the Opening Ceremonies
The Opening Ceremonies is the only event that will include all participants in the same venue at the same time. It is going to be a memory that the athletes will remember for years to come. As the main attraction for the 2010 Ontario Summer Games, the organizing committee has made arrangements to hear from some fabulous speakers, see some great entertainment and experience some inspiring festivities.
Special Emcees - This year the organizing committee was fortunate to have two local sport icons join us as our Emcees: Ms. Tessa Bonhomme, a 2010 Olympic Gold Medalist, and Mr. Nick Foligno, who plays for the Ottawa Senators, have agreed to welcome athletes from all over Ontario at the Opening Ceremonies. Both have made the community of Greater Sudbury proud and they invite you to partake in this fun filled event.

Spectators can either walk to the stadium from there or they can use the complimentary shuttle that will be provided.
