Volunteer Information

The 2010 Ontario Summer Games will take place from August 10 – 13, 2010 in The City of Greater Sudbury. The Ontario Games are the Province’s premiere multi-sport event and provide sports competition for youth between the ages of 11 & 22.
 
The Games will involve approximately 3500 participants (athletes, coaches and officials) from across the province, as well as over 1500 volunteers. By volunteering, you will receive a complimentary 2010 Ontario Summer Games uniform which is to be worn during the Games, and an invitation to the Recognition Party after the Games.
 
Volunteer Eligibility Requirements:
·    Minimum of 13 years of age by August 1, 2010
·    Ability to commit to at least two 4 hour shifts over the course of the Games
·    Must attend one of the four training sessions held during the month of July
·    Must complete a police check ( forms will be provided by the Ontario Summer Games Office once you are contacted and the cost is free) Procedures will be explained to you once you are called. Do NOT go to the police station for a form. The completed form will be on file with OSG.
